The troop started at Hermit's Rest (directly above, purple line).  The next day we hiked along the canyon plateau (left-most yellow line).  The third day we hiked down to the Colorado River (purple line going up).  We then hiked back up to Indian Gardens (yellow), then back up to the Canyon Rim (purple line going down).
